AUDIOMETRY
The Occupational Health & Safety Regulations 2007 specify that all employees’ that are required to wear hearing protection must have audiometric testing at least every two years. Noise Management Services provide on-site audiometric testing throughout Victoria in our fleet of mobile units and meet all of the requirements of the Victorian Workcover Authority.
We are able to cover all shifts with a minimum of fuss and our efficiency ensures a minimum amount of downtime for your company. For clients with their own facilities but not enough time, we are also able to provide fully trained staff to conduct your audiometric testing.
All audiometric test results should be reported to employees under the Occupational Health & Safety Regulations 2007. Our reporting service, Datagram, provides the following:
• A confidential letter to the employee explaining the results and providing a copy of the test.
• A report for the OH&S professional who is representing the employer. This alphabetical listing of all tests includes percentage loss and indicates if any further action, medical or audiological examination, is necessary.
